Seminar Objectives
Upon the successful completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:-

• Provide in-depth understanding of the design, inspection, maintenance and durability of steel structures

• Review the properties of steel and become familiar the tension members

• Identify the various types of structural fasteners and emphasize the common welding processes used in steel structures

• Know the scope of the compression members and explain the features and functions of laterally supported beams

• Acquire knowledge on torsion, lateral-torsional buckling of beams, continuous beams and plate girders and recognize their practical application in steel structures

• Determine the types of connections used in steel structures and learn braced and unbraced frames

• Provide practical knowledge of structural steel and bolting inspection

• Improve the maintenance procedures of steel structures and emphasize the sustainability of steel-framed buildings

• Understand the different approaches used in maintaining the durability of steel structures

In obtaining this approval, Haward Technology has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of our Authorized Provider membership status, Haward Technology is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard.

Haward Technology Middle East will award 3.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for participants who completed the total tuition hours of this program. One CEU is equivalent to ten Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or ten contact hours of the participation in and completion of Haward Technology programs. A permanent record of a participant’s involvement and awarding of CEU will be maintained by Haward Technology. Haward Technology will provide a copy of the participant’s CEU Transcript of Records upon request.

Seminar Fee
US $ 3,750 per Delegate. This rate includes Participant’s Pack (Folder, Manual, Hand-outs, etc.), buffet lunch, coffee/tea on arrival, morning and afternoon of each day.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the seminar fees. However, any accommodation required can be arranged by Haward Technology at the time of booking.
