Mr. Philip Rautenbach


Mr. Philip Rautenbach is a Registered Personnel Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in Human Resource Management (HRM), Human Resource Development (HRD), Personnel Training & Development, Team Building, Functions & Principles of Management, Organisational Communication, Motivation, Group Dynamics, Conflict Management, Facilitation Skills, Train-the-Trainer, Change Management, Interpersonal Skills, Customer Care & Marketing/Selling Skills.  He is currently the Senior Lecturer for Technikon Witwatersrand and the University of Port Elizabeth

As a Registered Personnel Practitioner and Training Assessor, Mr. Rautenbach has been actively involved in the manpower training and development of various institutions from both public and private sectors.  He has successfully facilitated training interventions in companies such as General Motors Corporation, Bosal, Lear Internal Components Corporation as well as local and provincial government organisations on most facets of people-related disciplines.  He played a significant role in the establishment of the General Motors Dealer Business Development School in association with the University of Port Elizabeth and the General Motors Institute, USA and led the project team which was responsible for the curriculum design of the Dealer Applied Retail Training (DART) programme.

Mr. Rautenbach is a Registered Personnel Practitioner in the Specialist Category of Training & Development as endowed by the National Board for Personnel Practitioners.  He has also gained certification as a Training Assessor from the Independent Examinations Board. He is an active member of the Institute for Personnel Management and was invited by the German Foundation for International Development (DSE) to participate in a program entitled, “Methods and Didactics for Advanced Training Practitioners” held in Berlin, Germany.
