Mr. Donald Rericka


Mr. Donald Rericka is a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with over 30 years of practical experience within the civil engineering field. His specialization is mainly on Land Surveying (Construction and Civil Engineering Projects), and excels in leading and training field surveying crews, training and developing synergistic civil engineering departments, increasing client satisfaction and retention, establishing procedures and methods for indexing and referencing surveying layouts, resolving boundary disputes in legal proceedings. His expertise on land surveying covers AutoCAD, Planning, Civil Engineering, Consulting, Construction and Project Management, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographical Information System (GIS).

Mr. Rericka is a former Adjunct Instructor at Triton College where he taught         college-level Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Land Surveying & Survey Law classes, Construction Management classes including estimating, contract documents, site design and project management. He established Area Action Plan (AAP) degree program and granting program in land surveying. He was also a former Director of Surveying, Manager of construction services and Party Chief in a Mid-America Survey Company. His achievements include building a surveying department from scratch. Starting with two employees, he instituted a formal, rigorous surveying training program and expanded the department to twelve and won client confidence. Further, he resolved legal disputes, thus saving the company from damages and winning new customers. He instituted a training program for field personnel at ERA.

Mr. Rericka has Master and Bachelor degrees and he is an active member of the USA Professional Land Surveyors Association and National Society of Professional Surveyors (USA).
