Mr. Mohamed Elweshahy


Mr. Mohamed Elweshahy, M.Eng, BSc.Eng is a Senior Electrical  & HSE Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in LV, MV & Light Current Design, Circuit Breakers, Switchgears, Transformers, Generators, Distribution Panels, Power Factor Panels, LV/MV/HV Switch Board Installation & Commissioning, Earthing & Lightening Protection Systems, and Protection Relay Setting & Commissioning, Health, Safety & Environmental Management (HSE), Waste & Environment Management, Hazardous Materials, Environmental Technology, HAZOP, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation and Environmental Impact and Assessment. He is currently the Senior Electrical Project Engineer for Drake Scull International.

Previously, Mr. Elweshahy was the Senior Electrical Engineer for Beeah Planners, Architects & Engineers overseeing all Medium/High Voltage design, installation, maintenance and repair of Transformers, Substations, Switchgears, and Circuit Breakers, Health & Safety Coordination, Energy Auditing & Green Design Applications.   Earlier in his career life, he had been connected with CGAP (Consultant Group for Architect & Planning) as Electrical Design & Supervision Engineer.  Herein, he was tasked to do the MV/LV, telecommunication & light current, cable laying, fiber optic laying design, installation, supervision and inspection.  Mr. Elweshahy has also been all over the Middle East and Europe undergoing numerous lengthy and rigorous trainings  with Alcatel KSA, CDC Berlin, Kocks Engineering Consultant Germany, HPTI Hamburg Germany, Baxall UK, and Comatrol Egypt.

Having assumed diverse and significant positions with these corporations gave him the opportunity to immensely develop his knowledge and expertise in the field and bring about major contributions to the projects he worked for with Koutta Steel Group, Iemco for Lighting Company, Esoo, Unikema, Hinkle, Elnoras Company, SCCT, Toutonigi Co., Elhossan Group and Isthmar. 

Mr. Elweshahy has Masters and Bachelors degrees in Electrical Power Engineering  and a Diploma in Health, Safety & Environmental Management (HSE).
