Mr. Gary Loveland


Mr. Gary Loveland, MSc, BSc, is a Senior Process & Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years of industrial experience all over the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  His expertise broadly covers Pneumatic Systems, Piping, Pipelines, Machinery, Reliability, Maintenance, Integrity, RCM, TPM, RCFA, RAM, Process, Pressure Vessels, Chemical, Vibration Analysis, Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM), Safety Engineering, Oil & Gas Process Operation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Training for various international Oil & Gas facilities, Water & Power, Manufacturing & Petrochemical facilities world-wide, including SIL, SIS, ESD, Gas Processing, Hydrates & Dehydration, Sweetening, NGL Recovery, Waste Management & Chemical Handling.  Aside from his industrial practice, he has likewise been imparting his skills & expertise in Project & Operations Management, Petroleum Industry Overview, Oil Processes, Hydro-Carbon Chemistry, Flow/Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Operations and Quality Assurance & Control.

During his long career, Mr. Loveland has accomplished different challenging and significant consultancy, management and supervisory assignments with numerous multi-million international projects including Gas Development Projects, GeoProduction Projects, Instrumentation Maintenance for Shell, Mobil Oil’s Boiler Piping & Instrumentation Systems, Bechtel’s Instrumentation & Controls, Brown & Root’s construction of Silica Production Plants, PETRONASWellhead Gas Production Operations, AMOCO’s Cathodic Protection Conduit & Port Facility Tank Cabling for its PTA Plants, DANIEL International’s Operating & Utilities Maintenance Procedures for an Int’l Airport, UNOCAL’s Offshore Oil & Gas Production Installations, and many more.  His responsibilities included coordinating production, maintenance & safety training program; approving & monitoring vendor training & manuals; developing process routines &  management procedures, schedules, and diagrams, project execution plans, closed-out reports, Corporate Quality Manual, Transport Logistics Standards & Procedures, wellhead Gas Productions Operations Manual and QC procedures including welding, piping and instrumentation inspection & non-destructive testing; commissioning process procedures for offshore oil/gas production platforms & onshore gas plant; supervising, coordinating & monitoring contractor’s installation & pre-commissioning of all process and monitoring process testing. 

Mr. Loveland has Master & Bachelor degrees in Engineering and maintains his certifications on Mechanical Inspection, Penetrant Testing, Receiving & Document Inspection.  He has also undergone several extensive trainings in Basic SupervisorySea Survival & H.U.E.T. and Quality Inspection & Non-destructive Testing.  Further, he is a well-respected  Fellow of Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Senior Member of Instrument Society of America (ISA) and holds certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
