Mr. William Adrian


Mr. William Adrian, PE, BSc, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years of extensive experience within Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Power industries. He is a renowned International Expert in Machinery Vibration Monitoring, Measurement & Analysis, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Reliability Engineering & Condition Monitoring, Piping Vibration, Bearings Analysis, Machinery Root Cause Failure Analysis and Machinery Repair, Alignment & Balancing. Currently, he is the Director of Vibrakon wherein he has developed and commissioned high speed test equipment and introduced the vibration monitoring principles and condition monitoring programs in several industries.  Further, he is in-charge of the technical and strategic engineering consulting for machine rotor-dynamics, vibration & oil analysis, condition monitoring, equipment reliability and design, selection, operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment such as turbo-machinery, turbines, variable-speed drives, pumps, motors, bearings, gearbox, compressors, piping, pipelines and valves.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Adrian worked with several international companies occupying significant positions such as a Condition Monitoring Director, Project Manager, Development Engineer and Junior Engineer. Mr. Adrian has worked internationally in the Vibration Institute (USA) providing vibration training courses in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East regions. This is where he managed and introduced DMSI’s integrated CM database approach (CMMS, vibration monitoring, oil analysis, IR, visual/numeric inspections), condition monitoring programs, installed the first online vibration monitoring system on paper machine and solved vibration problem in offshore FPSO industry.

Mr. Adrian is a Registered Professional Engineer and has Bachelor degree with Honours in Mechanical Engineering.
