Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Inspection, Maintenance & Calibration Program of Terminal Flowmetering Station. It covers the role, principles and custody transfer of flow measurement in the industry; the different types of flowmeters and the industry standards, legal frameworks and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector; the importance of safety and establishing protocols for inspection and maintenance; and the routine inspection techniques for flowmeters and instruments and ultrasonic flowmeters. Further, the course will also discuss the Coriolis flowmeters and its design, principle, installation and troubleshooting; effective strategies for maintenance planning and schedules; the predictive and preventative maintenance by comparing its approaches for optimal performance; resolve common flowmeter problems and the importance of accurate documentation and record keeping in maintenance and calibration; the importance and basics of calibration; and the master meter, volumetric and gravimetric methods in proving systems. link to course overview PDF

Training Methodology: 80% of the program will be theory and 20% will be practical sessions, exercises, case studies, simulators or videos
